PBK Online: Connection
People Before Kink (PBK) is the working philosophy of The Kink Collective. We are who we are before what we are.
Who is this program for? – Newcomers and veterans alike. This program is especially impactful for people who are trying to understand their place in their journey and looking to self actualize. People who are willing to do the work and be vulnerable.
Our interactions with others help give our lives meaning. The sense of well-being we get from truly connecting with another is proof of that. But while we yearn for deeper connections, we don’t know how to create them. This is most painfully evident in kink settings, where we are often our most vulnerable, but interactions end up being superficial and transactional.
There is a way to make and maintain deep and meaningful connections. We will show you how.
PBK is a 5-hour online intensive. We give you the foundation for meaningful, trusting and transformative connections in all areas of your life. Though designed for various levels of experience with kink, it is NOT a 101. It allows you to find and express your true self, and create space for others to do the same. This works with people you are just meeting as well as the relationships you already have. We show you how to bring all your connections to their full potential, giving meaning and direction to your journey as well as all areas of your life.
This program was developed over decades of involvement in the BDSM/leather/fetish/kink community including many years of professional work with people. This is the kind of work that gets people to the root of their identities, as they are today. Before the workshop, you will receive a package that walks you through a path of Introspection. Introspection at this level empowers you, through a unique process of self-awareness.
When the workshop opens, there will be a meet and greet to help acquaint you with the other participants. During this workshop, there will be vital information about how to create safe containers for yourself and for others. The introspective work, in addition to the ability to create these containers, starts you on the road to self-actualization. You will be partnered with another person in progressive breakout room sessions to apply what you are learning in real time. You will experience what it is to validate others and be validated by them. All of this happens in an environment of vulnerability, safety and trust. The entire process is free of judgment and agenda. This allows you to leave the workshop with valuable skills you will have already practiced using, freeing you to integrate them in all areas of your life.
By the end of this program you’ll have a solid understanding of who you are at this point in your journey. You’ll be able to identify (insert question examples here). You’ll have experienced authentic connections, vulnerability & validation in a space built for introspective conversations.
